Session Types & Rates

Initial Parent Consultation

Free

Before we begin tutoring, I offer a free parent consultation by phone. We’ll talk through your child’s needs, learning history, and goals. This helps me plan for our sessions and make sure tutoring is a good fit.

This is required for all new families before scheduling tutoring sessions. These typically last about 20 minutes.

Individual Tutoring Sessions

$80

Each one-hour session takes place in your home and is fully tailored to your child’s needs, using current curriculum and standards to support growth and confidence.

A supply fee of $25 will be collected each school semester.

Joint Tutoring sessions (2 students)

$160

Joint sessions take place in one student’s home and last one hour. Each child will receive some one-on-one support, along with collaborative time to build independence. Small groups can make learning more engaging and motivating.

A supply fee of $25 will be collected per student each school semester.

What Tutoring Sessions Include

As a certified teacher in Lake Travis ISD, I bring real classroom experience, curriculum knowledge, and a deep understanding of district expectations to every tutoring session. This allows me to bridge home and school in a meaningful, effective way.

During our first session or two, I often include informal evaluations to better understand your child’s strengths and areas for growth. This helps me tailor future sessions to their exact needs.

Every 60-minute session is thoughtfully planned around your child’s needs and learning goals. Here's what that might include:

  • One-on-one instruction that supports classroom learning and skill-building
  • Fun, hands-on activities to keep your child engaged and confident
  • Light homework practice (optional) to build independence
  • Informal assessments woven into sessions to track progress
  • Check-ins with parents so you’re always in the loop
  • Support using IEPs, reports, or teacher notes when available
  • Collaboration with families to find what motivates and encourages your child
