I offer in-home tutoring for preschool through third grade, working with families right here in the Lake Travis area. Each session is tailored to your child’s needs, whether we’re focusing on reading, math, or building confidence along the way.
Lessons are hands-on, structured, fun and take place right in the comfort of your home!
About Lauren Parks
Hi, I’m Lauren Parks — a public school teacher with LTISD and founder of Parks and Pals Tutoring. I’ve spent over 16 years working with young children in early education, Montessori and Reggio Emilia settings, summer camps, and now four years in the classroom as a first-grade teacher.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in community programs supporting children in foster care — and that experience deeply shaped the way I show up for kids. It taught me how powerful consistency, trust, and advocacy can be — and just how much children can teach us when we’re open to learning from them too.
Tutoring allows me to do what I love most: connect with children, uncover what’s holding them back, and build the skills and confidence they need to thrive. Every session is hands-on, playful, and thoughtfully planned to support their unique growth.
